Officially in full-momentum of our April school
quarter. A rather quieter season for
YWAM Honolulu, as we currently are running only one training program; a School
of Biblical Studies (SBS). Only ~15 students,
-however, representing 9 different nations! We
have been able to invest much energy this quarter in strengthening structures
with in our departments and overall base property improvements.
Still managing the Hospitality Department (going on ~9
months now!) and LOVING it! My primary
responsibilities revolve around our Guest House; where I find much joy in
scheduling, correspondence, setting up rooms, and interacting with our
guests. I have been able to meet the
most incredibly interesting people; Frontline missionaries passing through from
remote parts of the earth. An assortment of passionate and educated school speakers. Family, friends, and YWAM alumni whom always
have amusing info on fellow staff members from their younger years. I have had the pleasure of hosting pastors of
all backgrounds, professors, authors, and music artists. Working in the Hospitality Department has
been a season of amazing networking and blessing.
Increased stirring in me for leading and creating Worship
Music. I’ve been stepping out more into the opportunities in front of me to lead. For example, my schedule a week ago;

YWAM base worship/intersession. THEN
7:00pm-9:00pm One Love Reflect women’s study worship night
Tues; 7:00pm-7:30pm
One Love Highschool Youth Group worship
Wed; 9:30pm-11:30pm pre
Street-Outreach worship/intersession
Thurs; 6:30pm-7:15pm
YWAM Launch public worship meeting
Fri; 7:00pm-7:30pm,
8:30pm-9:00pm One Love Relevant collage/carrier worship
=8.5 hours of leading worship in a week… and that’s not including
preparation, practicing, or late night hours I often spend playing in the
prayer room here on base just ‘cause!
I LOVE IT!
