What is it about the World that so intrigues me? It's so much more then boarders, primary colors, and the ocean/land often unevenly proportioned on a one dimensional piece of paper. It's the distinct aromas and sounds of marketplaces, and the feel of air at different elevations. The colorful unique cultures, and the inspiring vast variety in geography. The common connection found in every human being of the image of God the creator. It's an awakening experience across every territory, and found within every story.
Where have I been? I've claimed residence across the extreme edges of the United States; east coast, west coast, and the pacific ocean. World-missions have molded my life, the experiences, and has become a healthy addiction that calls within me. The first adventure was to the Caribbean island of Jamaica, where I became quickly aware of the drastic contrast and the beauty found both in the postcard turquoise resorts and inland extreme poverty. Several trips were taken down the corrupted dusty roads of deep Mexico where the best tacos are found in every rundown wooden shack. An extended pass-through the appearance-of-collective and cool European cobblestone streets of Spain. Rode a boat on the fence of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Voluntarily caught in a maze of an old high-walled city in Northern Africa as Mosque bells rang. Stayed several months in Morocco, commonly spending full-days on old trains. Went on a trek through the jungles of Vanuatu, passing rusted World War tanks half over-taken by nature. Currently rooted? -The melting pot of the Pacific –Hawaii, the stepping stone to Asia, and beyond. All the excitement and adrenaline of preparation, the airplane rides, and survival, is matchless to the revelations impressed upon my heart of God’s creativity, purpose, and plan. This is just the beginning!
